"The look of your dog is the best mirror of the greatness of your soul" (anonymous)
According to Freud, dreams are manifestations of the unconscious, and so if we pay attention to what we dream it can help to understand the world around us, that is why they say that dreaming with dogs, which even, they say, will be quite common, since many people dream about dogs, and depending on each context, the dream may mean something different. In addition, the interpretation of dreams varies greatly from person to person. In general, dreaming of dogs or seeing dogs in dreams is usually a good omen, for they symbolize, among other things, friendship and good things like intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity.
As José Saramago said "the difficult thing is not to live with people, the difficult thing is to understand them", it will not be surprising to anyone that the human brain is one of the great mysteries that we have, because until today we can not understand its total capacity and even where it can overcome certain barriers. Dreams are certainly one of the most fascinating things and over the years have been attracting the attention of thinkers and scholars in order to understand how they work and their meanings. For some, dreams are just the daydreams of our subconscious that manifest through visual elements of our routine, just an attempt by our brain to recreate moments of everyday life, situations or things that have marked us, albeit unconsciously. With all of this dogs have a fundamental role in studying dreams and their meanings and how these incredible beings affect our lives in different fields.
As we know or have the notion of this today, as there has never been in the past much and varied information that is shared in so-called social networks in relation to "all" our psycho-emotional health. And in fact all this surprises us and it seems so incredible, and to some extent inspiring and supportive, in fact if we have suffered some "traumatic situation", and when part of it may seem discouraging, isolated or difficult to digest or even relate to everything that happens in our lives, we have seen "come to us" this "hand" that seems to us savior and contributes to improve our psycho-emotional well-being.
When we are struck by emotional damage that occurs as a result of some event that strikes us, our entire psychological system of living life changes, as we "fall" into a mode of "survival," and in this situation the success of regaining the mode to live life becomes very difficult. In fact our brain literally moves to another behavioral level affecting how we respond to our living environment, trauma impedes the way we show ourselves in the world in many ways. Experiences of a trauma can make it difficult to understand why we are feeling in a certain way, why we respond in certain situations, what our needs are, or what our body is trying to tell us. In order to keep ourselves safe (we are so smart), our brains and bodies often dissociate, hinder, avoid, or block things. And yet the trauma (and all our experiences) still lives within us - we do not always recognize the ways it appears, which can be confusing and easily make us feel like it was our fault or as if something was wrong with us.
Maybe not everyone agrees but "talking to dogs" also helps in providing a non-judgmental company. A dog just listens and never judges. This is very healthy when it comes to venting problems of everyday life.
Dogs are special. Anyone who has a dog as a pet knows that. In addition, most owners have the feeling that their dog understands everything they say and any gesture they make. This sentiment is repeated in an endless number of artistic works and is condensed into a famous phrase "The more I know the people, the more I like my dog," attributed to dozens of authors, although it may possibly be signed by tens of millions.
"Love for a dog is voluntary, no one imposes it ... And the main thing: no person can give the other the gift of the idyll, that only the animal knows how to do ... Love between a human and a dog is an idyll. There are no conflicts in it, there are no distressing scenes, there is no evolution, "wrote Milan Kundera in The Unbearable Lightness of Being
