Assim consumimos o "nosso tempo"….nestas coisas que nos fazem viver atolados num mundo fictício de propaganda e contra-propaganda e somos incapazes de pensar e discutir os verdadeiros problemas da vida. Teoricamente sabe-se que a terra gira, mas de facto não damos por isso, o chão que pisamos parece que não se mexe e vivemos tranquilos. É o que se passa com o “Tempo na vida!” Como disse Platão:” Tente mover o mundo - o primeiro passo será mover a si mesmo. Não espere por uma crise para descobrir o que é importante na sua vida.” Todos estes sinais, é melhor repetir, podem ser apenas espuma dos nossos dias. Mas denotam um deslassar ético em relação ao respeito pela dignidade e pelos direitos humanos, entre eles o direito de pensar diferente e de liberdade individual de todos os cidadãos. E mostram também o risco de regressão civilizacional que vive a democracia hoje em dia. “O ignorante afirma, o sábio duvida, o sensato reflete. Inspiramo-nos nas imagens que diariamente, quer nós queiramos quer não nos entram “pela casa dentro”, em especial sobre a guerra na Ucrânia (país cada vez mais destruído) e dos Estados Unidos (país onde o poder político não tem lucidez nem coragem para pôr termo ao crescente número de massacres nas escolas), que sintetizamos nesta frase de John Locke:” Onde não há lei, não há liberdade.” Podem acreditar e acreditem que(especialmente os mais jovens) : A vida pode ser bela e empolgante. Tudo está nas nossas mãos. Como disse Sócrates – o filósofo grego: “A vida não examinada não vale a pena ser vivida. Sábio é aquele que conhece os limites da própria ignorância.” Talvez esta primeira frase de David Hume seja a inspiração para a máxima a beleza está nos olhos de quem vê? “ A beleza das coisas existe no espírito de quem as contempla.”. Tudo que enxergamos é relativo e construído de acordo com as nossas culturas, vivências e etc E finalmente se os políticos “afirmam ser vital “para a União Europeia aumentar o orçamento para a defesa, não será ainda mais importante aumentar o orçamento para a educação e cultura?
