Those who live in labyrinths hunger for the path. The good thing about the path is that it has a return. For a journey without a return, time is enough." (Mia Couto)

Those who live in labyrinths hunger for the path. The good thing about the path is that it has a return. For a journey without a return, time is enough." (Mia Couto) When you wake up, remember that the day is another opportunity given to you to make your life on this earth worthwhile. There are those who say, I read it somewhere, that "life is a great journey full of ups and downs, but it is up to us to choose how to face it." In fact, there are times when, because we so desperately want something to happen, we don't even realize they're illusions! When these disappear or end, we come crashing back down to earth, and with that, much of what existed disappears. The effects that always arise from these situations can have less positive impacts (some people accept negatives and failures), and it's in these moments that we can't "let ourselves get down"! According to a famous quote attributed to Winston Churchill, we must always remember that "courage is the first of human qualities because it guarantees all others." In any case, we must realize—we have in "the times of perceptions"—that our lives are full of ups and downs. Those who lack the will, courage, self-confidence, and strength to rise after an eventual "defeat" are doomed to be eternally defeated. There's a famous quote attributed to Marguerite Duras: "There are illusions that resemble daylight; When they end, everything with them disappears." This phrase seeks to reflect on how illusions, which seem as real as daylight, disappear completely when they end, taking with them everything they were associated with. And in another sentence, in summary, we can reflect that "we are replaceable in what we do, not in what we are" is a powerful reminder of our individuality and the importance of valuing our essence beyond our actions and achievements and seeking a deeper meaning in our lives, recognizing that our value lies not only in what we do, but in who we are. And in this sense, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, in a verse from the poem "Nesta Hora" (In This Hour), contains the phrase "The demagogue tells half of the truth." A demagogue, instead of telling the whole truth, selects and presents only a part of it, trying to manipulate and control people through half-truths. "The demagogue tells half of the truth, And the rest plays skillfully, Because you think the people only think half, Because you think the people neither perceive nor know." "Our greatest glory lies not in never falling, but in rising again after every fall." (Oliver Goldsmith) (In Portuguese, "illusion" refers to a deception of the senses or the mind, leading to a misperception of reality. It can be a misinterpretation of a fact or situation, or even a vain or unrealizable hope. In broader terms, illusion can be a mistake, deception, or fraud, as well as a fantasy or daydream.)
