"Life is brief, but there is much more to it than we are capable of living." (José Saramago

"Life is brief, but there is much more to it than we are capable of living." (José Saramago) Living is knowing how to deal with moments of weakness, on a somewhat existentialist side of looking at life but, at the same time, thinking can be seen in another way. It's impossible to be strong all the time. In the ups and downs of life, we will have many moments of sadness and insecurity. But remember, they will only bring you down if you let them. This is often life’s way of teaching us very valuable lessons that we wouldn’t have learned otherwise.” It is not always necessary to become strong. We have to breathe our own weaknesses.”Clarice Lispector There are those who say that there is only a mistake when we recognize it. I don't know if it's true. If that were the case, what would become of “Descartes’ error”, exposed by António Damásio? But making mistakes is part of the human experience, it is intrinsic to it. And recognizing our own mistakes makes us more humble and empathetic. “If I don’t fear mistakes, it’s because I’m always willing to correct them,” wrote Bento de Jesus Caraça. There are those who say that “missing you” is confirmation that we are well. The lack we feel is the price of the universe that we have to pay, and on the other hand, it is a look back and remembering unique, unforgettable moments and special people who made our lives more beautiful to live. And, no matter how much time passes, they will always be remembered in these beautiful moments. Special people appear in our lives when we least expect them, they are by our side when we need them most and they stay forever because they become part of us. “Moments of weakness in life can be experienced by anyone, and if we do without them today, let us take them for granted tomorrow.” (José Saramago) Life laughs at our predictions and puts words where we imagined silences, and sudden returns when we thought we would never meet again. Time is one day, the world can be seen from my window, and I am distracted alone. I miss this little corner of ours, the conviviality we created here, the moments between our outbursts. And, because of all this, I no longer know if missing you is confirmation that we are okay! We are on the path to September and there are conclusions that take a lifetime to reach and when we do, the time is gone. As Victor Hugo said: “There is nothing like a dream to create the future…..life is already short, but we make it even shorter by wasting time.”
