"No wind blows in favor of those who don't know where to go.” (Sêneca)
“Carpe Diem. Seize the day, live now, forget what happened and what will happen. The life is now!"
These times that are not ours make us stronger. What is really important finds a way to manifest itself, even in the midst of noise and confusion, so that we have the necessary inner peace to see what is going on around us, because “our history shows that we like to react instead prevent ”.
Life today is tragic enough, so that this tragedy has not become a television show, of complete disrespect for the human condition, and for health professionals who under enormous pressure and limited resources, who are fighting a battle, without knowing against who and who daily try to save lives. It is shocking and shameful, (both morally and ethically) for those who claim to have the “profession of journalists”, but much more for those who “claim to be professionals in the health field”, who “forget” that this profession has the fascination of being able to help others, and being at the forefront in the fight against this pandemic, instead of falling into reality and not distorting the true dimension of things and understanding that life is much more than surviving. I am led to qualify these people who behave like “vultures”, who live from hatred to hatred, “just and only to try to have some notoriety”. Stop "just saying bad"! Why don't they present what the alternative was?
When they don't respect themselves, how can we expect them to respect others?
In fact, we must realize that this situation, which is imposed on us to safeguard our health, has completely changed our daily routines. And the uncertainty that exists regarding the time it will take until normality is restored or the fear of contracting the infection has effects, whether we admit it or not, on our emotional balance at a psychological level, and therefore it is permissible that “despite many of us being used to being alone ”, we may not be able to cope very well with this isolation, showing some signs of stress for not being able to leave the house and maintain our way of life, being defensible that to mitigate fear, stress, sadness or anxiety, we must resort to the means and resources at our disposal, to contact (talk to our family members, and friends) in order to restore this balance, in days of greater emotional instability.
As someone has already written “there is a fear of not seeing the family again, a fear of losing income from pensions and, for some, even the fear of going out on the street”. These concerns are increasing, they add, due to the "uncertainty of not knowing when this will end and the uncertainty of what comes next and the fear of being forgotten".
This is a reality: Even after everything "goes back to normal" nothing will be the same as before. The circumstances have become tougher and we have to toughen up as well. This means: being more creative, more resistant, resilient and positive. But we also have to be more practical, act more and better, be smart and smart. But, in all simplicity, we will have to enjoy more of life and ours, because after all everything is ephemeral. Life is full of challenges that, if used creatively, turn into opportunities. We have to recognize that we are in a situation that, despite everything, protects people's mental health, by “allowing them to go on trips that are essential to their survival, and” it also mitigates the risk factors to make sure that this situation exists. - to finish, although we do not know when: “It is a factor that gives us some hope. A return to normality will happen in the coming weeks or months. This has to be highlighted as a good factor. ”” Take advantage of all the opportunities in your life, because when they pass, they take a long time to return. ”(Paulo Coelho).
