“Opportunities are like the sunrise: if we wait too long, we will miss them.” (William Arthur Ward)

“Opportunities are like the sunrise: if we wait too long, we will miss them.” (William Arthur Ward) Today, more than ever, it is time to live every day as if it were your last. And living each day as if it were your last is a great opportunity to learn to love every second of our day. As Mahatma Gandhi said: “If we want to progress, we must not repeat history, but make a new history.” As someone has also said, when we leave our comfort zone, all our dreams become possible, but we need in these times, more than before, to have the perception that, “in the great battles of life, the first step towards victory is the desire to win.” (Mahatma Gandhi) In this statement, broadly speaking, that the strength of our thoughts attracts certain types of things into our lives, whether positive or less positive, leads me to believe in a “universal law of attraction”. Everything involves recognizing that the idea that our thoughts and emotions determine our future is fascinating and mysterious. But to be so profound, we need patience and perseverance, as Fyodor Dostoevsky said: “The secret of human existence lies not only in living, but also in knowing what we live for.” So you have to replace less positive thoughts with positive ones and prepare for a big change. And remember that when, in life, one door closes for us, there is always another that opens. In general, however, we look with so much regret and resentment at the closed door that we do not notice the other that has opened. “Never give up on yourself. Never give up on being happy, because life is an unmissable obstacle, even if there are dozens of factors trying to demonstrate the opposite.” (Augusto Cury)
