Everything is worth it when the soul is not small.” (Fernando Pessoa) The days are not always good. We are not always fine. We all have difficult days, sometimes weeks, months that turn into years…the weight of those moments leaves marks forever. No human is mayor. We're all going to struggle with that along the way. But, we must always bear in mind what George Eliot said: “Friendship is the indescribable comfort of feeling safe with a person, without having to weigh what you think or measure what you say.” Because there will always be difficult moments that seem to make us lose our temper and in those moments we say things that we later regret. But, this is where the big difference arises, we should all feel comfortable admitting our mistakes, and demonstrating that we all make mistakes, and that it's okay to make mistakes and apologize. As William Shakespeare wrote: “Our doubts are treacherous and make us lose what we might often gain, simply because we are afraid to risk it.” This is how we demonstrate that all of us must take responsibility for attitudes that are considered less correct, and learn from them. The hope remains of having a new opportunity to do things differently, right and better. “These are difficult times for dreamers... it rejects failure as human destiny.
