WE ARE ABLE TO DO OUR BEST! “É das coisas, que os sonhos são feitos.” It is about things, that dreams are made." (William Shakespeare

In these times, as it happened in other times, we are always so committed to discussing what divides us, that we end up dedicating little or no time to talk about what unites us. As we should all be aware, we unfortunately have to conclude, as Winston Churchill said, that "there is no public opinion, there is published opinion."
However, the reality is that despite the public virtues, private addictions remain. Men and women like us in rights and duties have been robbed of their rights and exploited in their duties. And, again in this regard, I use a phrase attributed to Winston Churchill: “All great things are simple. And many can be expressed in one word: freedom; justice; honor; to owe; godliness; hope."
Who are the companies and entrepreneurs that, in a shameful way, put us on the route of the exploitation of man by man and human trafficking? The State, in addition to appointing commissions and conducting studies, what has it done in the last 10 years in this regard? What went wrong, why and who are responsible, public and private? And, I can conclude that hypocrisy overcomes the speech of the politically correct! “It is not enough to know, it is preferable to know how to apply. It is not enough to want, you have to know how to want. ” (Johann Goethe)
Like all of us in a way, yesterday and today, without realizing it, we are placed, whether we like it or not, in the position of the prince of Machiavelli, since it seems clear that what we see today, and also yesterday, is that private life has taken on colors who were from public life, and where we are led to an ever-existing reality in which we can only learn what we already know but do not believe to accept that “our eyes are the abode of shame, and where our character is the result of our conduct." (Aristotle). Because each of us is, to a certain extent, in the condition of the Prince of Machiavelli: with more freedom than ever before, but also more insecure. It is only worth looking back to remember the great steps and to find inspiration and energy for the obstacles of the present and the future. With indignation. All together, sharing the same bank of life. “Nobody wants democracy to be perfect or flawless. It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the other forms that have been tried from time to time. ”(Winston Churchill)
