“He who strives to resolve difficulties resolves them before they arise.” One of the best phrases in the book “The Art of War” talks about anticipating the future. We should not live in anxiety, but we must prepare ourselves for some scenarios in a rational and healthy way. Maybe that's why, nothing better than this “reflection”....
"A reflection on middle age...
At this point in my life, I no longer know very well who I am.
In the doctor's file, I am sick.
At the restaurant, I am a customer.
At the bank, I am a customer
At the post office, I am a sender.
In the supermarket, I am a consumer.
For Finance, I am a taxpayer.
If I don't pay, I'm a crook.
To vote, I am a voter.
But at the rally, I'm cool.
When traveling, I am a tourist.
When driving, I am a driver.
On the street, when I walk, I am a pedestrian.
But if they run over me, I'm injured.
At the hospital, I become a patient.
For the newspapers, I am a victim.
If I buy a book, I am a reader.
If I turn on the radio, I listen.
At the cinema, I am a spectator.
In football, I'm a cheerleader.
And, when I perish, no one will remember my name, they will call me deceased, extinct, deceased and in certain circles, even "the dead one"... And the worst of all is that for every ruler I am just an IMBECIL !!! And to think that one day I was more ME." Perhaps that's why we have to know our strengths and weaknesses and work on them to improve them. This will help you face challenges and seize opportunities that come our way. “Focus on strengths, recognize weaknesses, seize opportunities and protect yourself against threats” (in the book “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu)
