(Sun Tzu) In these times that are not ours, we feel that the days have “24 hours, of shorter duration”, and sometimes we feel that we need so many friends who have already left. Whether we like it or not we have to admit that we are very concerned with everything around us, but we still have some hope that it will be possible to improve the situation so that future generations can live in tolerant, solidary and peaceful societies, such as the words that Dr. Maria Barroso, left us: “I have not lost hope that we will improve our situation, just as I have not lost hope that Europe and the world will improve. Each of us must give a little bit of ourselves, the world can be improved. We must put the best of ourselves in shaping the minds of the youngest, heads that are constantly disturbed by the violence of our times. Television has a great influence - as Father António Vieira used to say, what enters through the eyes has more strength than what enters through the ears - but even so, I have faith. And the family is fundamental, that the youngsters believe in this and in the formation of peaceful and tolerant citizens who help us to walk on the right road ”. So perhaps we can here recall Charles Baudelaire, an individualist, who interpretively assisted and reflected the society emerging from the French revolution, namely the restoration of the old norms by old and new actors and the use of the masses to reconstruct a society of privileges, in short, the “Manipulation of the masses” as today happens in a way adapted to the new media, but in the end the irrationality of the masses remains as well as the convenience of their manipulation to obtain the intended effects. Justice has nothing to do with this, the judicial system, as an instrument of politicians, has everything. “Há momentos em que a maior sabedoria é parecer não saber nada.” (Sun Tzu) Nestes tempos que não são os nossos, sentimos que, os dias tem “24 horas, de menor duração”, e por vezes sentimos que nos fazem falta tantos amigos que já partiram. Quer queiramos quer não temos de admitir que estamos muito preocupados com tudo o que nos rodeia, mas ainda temos alguma esperança de que seja possível melhorar a situação para que as gerações futuras possam viver em sociedades tolerantes, solidárias e pacíficas, tal como as palavras que a Dra Maria Barroso, nos deixou: “Não perdi a esperança de que melhoremos a nossa situação, como não perdi a esperança de que a Europa e o mundo melhorem. Cada um de nós deve dar um bocadinho de si próprio, o mundo pode ser melhorado. Devemos colocar o melhor de nós na formação das mentes dos mais jovens, cabeças que são constantemente perturbadas pela violência dos nossos tempos. A televisão tem uma grande influência – como dizia o Padre António Vieira, o que entra pelos olhos tem mais força do que aquilo que entra pelos ouvidos –, mas mesmo assim tenho fé. E a família é fundamental, que os mais jovens acreditem nisso e na formação de cidadãos pacíficos e tolerantes que nos ajudem a caminhar na estrada certa”. Assim talvez podemos aqui relembrar Charles Baudelaire, um individualista, que assistia e reflectia interpretativamente a sociedade saída da revolução francesa, nomeadamente a recomposição das velhas normas por velhos e novos actores e a utilização das massas para reconstituir uma sociedade de privilégios, em resumo, a “manipulação das massas” como hoje acontece de forma adaptada aos novos meios, mas no fundo a irracionalidade das massas mantem-se assim como a conveniência da sua manipulação para obter os efeitos pretendidos. A justiça não tem nada a ver com isto, o sistema judicial, como instrumento dos politicos tem tudo.
