“Uncertainty is the basis of our life.” (Deepak Chopra) Today, July 2nd (Sunday), the year is halfway through. The 2nd of July marks the exact middle: 182+2 of July+182=365. July 2 is the 183rd day of the year in the Gregorian calendar (184th in leap years). 182 days left to end the year. Because there are 182 days before and 182 days after, this is the middle day of the year. After all, we already see many difficult things in life, such as pain and injustice, and therefore we need some lightness and humor for ourselves. And retain what Winston Churchill, (British Prime Minister from 1940 to 1955): “The lesson is this: never give up, never, never, never. In nothing. Big or small, important or not. Never give up." And if, at a certain moment, when we are alone, we doubt the step we have taken, we must never forget that we chose to follow. And moving forward despite everything is the greatest act of courage, compassion and self-respect that we can have in our life. Let's not live in half. Let's not let them limit us. We are not afraid to be. Life always rewards those who have the courage to move forward. As Mark Twain said: “Do not abandon your illusions. Without them you can continue to exist, but you cease to live.” Don't let anyone pull you down and stop you from flying. Don't be afraid to cut the ties. Don't be afraid to turn around and move forward. Don't be afraid to close a door, even if the rumble echoes and the noise is much louder than necessary, because after closing that door you will live in another house. And it's exactly there, in that place, that you want to be. And yes, life rewards you and gives you back your courageous act of moving forward. As he said in his famous quote by Martin Luther King Jr. “If you can't fly, run; if you can't run, walk; if you can't walk, drag yourself, but never stop moving forward.” It doesn't matter what we do, what we say, how we behave or what decisions we make. Everything will always be observed and criticized. As long as external pressures are stronger than our personal desires, our happiness is completely threatened. The focus must always be on our values and not on the opinions of others. “In the difficult moments of my life, I remembered that in the history of mankind, love and truth always won.” (Mahatma Gandhi)
