he greatest glory of living is not that we never fall, but that we get up every time we fall.” (Nelson Mandela)

The greatest glory of living is not that we never fall, but that we get up every time we fall.” (Nelson Mandela) Sometimes, and at certain times, we have thoughts that, if you could reveal them and make them come to life, would add new luminosity to the stars of our lives. This is all about the latest developments considered in the “political area” – in general, a Portuguese person has an opinion about everything, but he rarely expresses it, as he prefers to follow the “wave” of others – it would be very interesting if the Portuguese, in particular the “pseudo-journalists” who now proliferate around, manipulating citizens according to the “interests of the so-called privileged classes”, who at least had the awareness that “perhaps” we still live in Portugal in a right state”, whose fundamental principles they are the rule of law and, if the laws are unadapted, the duty of the “political citizens” who sit in the Assembly of the Republic is to adapt them! –“Get rid of the sycophants. Keep people close to you who will tell you when you make mistakes" (Barack Obama) We have to be aware that not every sentence defines the personality, character or feeling of the person who uttered it. There are phrases, for example, perfectly understandable, the result of a mere outburst. They are exclamations that spontaneously come out of the mouth of any of us poor mortals. They can be cries of joy, anger, pleasure, sadness or pain. The phrase, however, can be a sentence, as it is the collection of words that form a complete meaning. And therein lies the danger of what is said – these days it seems to me that an “enormous storm of citizenship” could be approaching – not only in Portugal but throughout the European Union. "And here we are, face to face with the cynicism and doubts of those who tell us we can't, to whom we respond with the timeless belief that represents the spirit of a people: yes, we can." (Barack Obama) In our daily lives, it is clear that there is clearly an "attempt" to "impose a distorted view of the reality of society where we have lived and still live", that is, the "press, especially television" strives to “tame” so that the new emerging powers make us follow the path of acceptance and improvidence that Brecht described: “first they came for the Jews and I didn’t care, because I wasn’t a Jew, then they came for the communists and I rested, because I wasn’t a Jew. communist … until they knocked on my door - for example the institution of “fake news” (lies or untruths or also called alternative truths) as a legitimate instrument of communication for the powerful! We have no doubt that it is the “principles” of the demagogues and populists that are corroding the structure of democracies in the West and especially in Portugal. Finally, I add that my principles are a personal matter, but the interests defended by this paraphernalia, proclaimed as “ours” by the multimillionaires who appear out of nowhere (with a clean record) are a matter that, whether I like it or not, interfere with the our life, will cause radical alterations in the rights of the society to which we belong, in the limitation of our freedom, in the loss of social goods, insecurity, impoverishment, violence in the future of our successors. “The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who watch and let evil happen.” (Albert Einstein)
