"Learn from your story, but don't live in it." (Steve Maraboli)

"Learn from your story, but don't live in it." (Steve Maraboli) Regarding this quote attributed to the Dalai Lama: "Remember the three Rs: Respect for yourself, Respect for others and Responsibility for actions." We have a distinct feeling that there are so few people who feel completely fulfilled at the end of their path. These are the ones who realized what was the primary and the secondary; what was fundamental and what was paltry; those who realized that the solution is to live longer, to be more present, and to worry less. We care so much. We have so many fears. We get so attached to things that after a while they no longer have the same importance. Sometimes it doesn't even matter at all.” As Aristotle said: "Let us be masters of our will and slaves of our conscience." We all have stories, and how our personal lives are a constant game of waist, tests of overcoming and obstacle races, with crises, tragedies.,.?... What will be the secret of our ability to recover? Perhaps in trying to keep our humanity intact, inside and outside of us, given that memory is a pillar of this strength and art is a bridge that unites it all. "We are the memory we have and the responsibility we assume. Without memory we don't exist, without responsibility we may not deserve to exist." (Jose Saramago) Let's stop wanting nothing more and accepting everything that was with us. Let's let go of what had to go. Allow everything to stay that was supposed to stay. And accept to receive what our life wants to give us. Every day. No fear. Because accepting to receive is the same as living without being afraid of losing. Now is the time for balance, for reciprocity, for giving and receiving; time for choices, struggles, justice and truth. Time for action, attitude and conviction. It is time to live the “fire of the spirit”; to quicken the courage of the heart; it's time to relax from doing more nonsense and taking things less seriously. Take more risks. believe more. Climb more mountains and swim in more rivers. “Silence is one of the hardest arguments to counter. Since solitude is a good place to visit once in a while, but bad to adopt as an abode.” (Josh Billings)
