“Living is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist." (Oscar Wilde)

“Living is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist." (Oscar Wilde)

As they say, we can go on playing this game, dancing this dance, until we fool ourselves with phone calls and video calls, which sometimes increase the distances rather than reducing them. But only at the end can we tell the story. It is up to us here to emphasize, at least that is what it seems to us, that there is a gain in awareness that this isolation has led us, that more important in life that HAVING is BEING, besides that BEING does not end with time, it is eternal, but TER can end at any time. I feel that we are stronger, more patient with each other, more affectionate too, and I feel that we are now much more aware of what is fundamental.
However, this is not our time, it is indeed a time of uncertainty, but it is also a time of hope, and it is in this balance between uncertainty and hope that we have to move, uncertainty and hope even as we learn more, we are also discovering that it will not be so quick to return to normal for everyone. There is a popular phrase that says: "We only value things when we lose them". We will reflect on these times, and better manage our time, trying to use it in the healthiest way without forgetting our real priorities, aiming at a good quality of life and a life with more pleasure, bearing in mind as Albert Einstein said that “the imagination is more important than science, because science is limited, whereas imagination covers the whole world. ”
For today here are my suggestions and thoughts, about what I know or what I think I know:
1. The call now for confinement, that is, social isolation, as everyone realizes, is fundamental and essential to contain the coronavirus (covid 19);
2. In an optimistic way towards the beginning of May, in a pessimistic way towards the beginning of July, a new phase of our lives will begin, marked by a progressive resumption of activity, with observance of the rules prescribed by the health authorities;
3. We will only be returned to a way of life, more or less similar to what we had before we were invaded by COVID19, when a vaccine that radiates this virus is discovered and mass produced;
4. For now, we must appeal to discipline and resilience, that is, to our ability to face and overcome in this period of great difficulties this traumatic event, followed by times of heightened prudence so that we can envisage resuming living our life .
And, to conclude, I want to remember that it is the feeling of community, of sharing objectives, that has been what has led most to individual decisions - which, more than ever, have collective consequences. This is also why it is so important to continue to be so. Nothing is gained. But nothing is lost, too. "In the great battles of life, the first step towards victory is the desire to win." (Mahatma Gandhi)
