“THE BIGGER THE DREAM IS, THE LONGER IS THE WAIT!” (Suh Yoon Lee)

“THE BIGGER THE DREAM IS, THE LONGER IS THE WAIT!”
     (Suh Yoon Lee)

"Nobody dares to predict how it will be going forward.”

Life experience tells us that to make big dreams come true it will take great sacrifices and, in some cases, a long wait. Perhaps it is so or not everyone believes it to be so.
I belong to a generation, like many of us who lived most of their lives in a state of emergency: the emergency of going to the overseas war, the dictatorship, the end of the empire, the construction of a new regime resulting from the "revolution" , new relationships with the world, etc. A generation that left home, around the age of 20, that came to life in Africa for each other around the world to which they emigrated. We have to admit that many life projects fell apart like a deck of cards, many courses remained unfinished, but many of us, we have to consider that we were lucky because we went and came back, which did not happen to thousands of other young people who gave your life for nothing and for nothing! That's why, and maybe we know that not all dreams come true, but we can always dream new dreams, being aware that dreams are not impossible, only people don't know how to make them come true. “Our biggest weakness is giving up. The surest way to win is to try again. ” (Thomas Edison)
In fact, if we stand in the same place, we will never be able to achieve what we desire. We have to be inspired and find the courage to realize our biggest dreams, regardless of the fears that surround us! We need a lot of willpower to take enough chances! As Michelle Obama said: “We will not always have a comfortable life and we will not always be able to find solutions to our problems at once. But never underestimate its importance, because history has already shown us that courage can be contagious and that hope can have a life of its own ”.
I believe I have already written it, that this is not mine and that of many others our time. Time calls for time. And while we ask, day by day, how long time can take, I think it depends on everyone to stop the epidemic of misinformation. It depends on everyone to stop the covid-19. Whether we like it or not, the so-called “new coronavirus” enters us, at all times, at home without asking for permission, on television, on social media, by the messages we receive and by any call or video call we make, in the management of our time and to endure loneliness and isolation. There are many unanswered questions, and news that at every moment changes what it was before. We all feel that the conditions for social panic are in place and it is becoming increasingly difficult to trust the information or decisions and directions we receive. “In the difficult moments of my life, I remembered that in the history of humanity, love and truth have always won. “(Mahatma Gandhi)
We can and must exercise an effective citizenship right by “becoming” public health agents by questioning, investigating, choosing the best sources of information. We are public health agents by keeping an eye on information and not sharing and spreading messages from unofficial sources. We are public health agents when consulting official media such as WHO and DGS, and whenever any of our friends have doubts, share reliable information with them.
The time has come to stop. We are in pause mode. Life goes on in moments. “What really matters is not the night itself, it is dreams. Dreams that man always dreams, everywhere, at all times of the year, sleeping or awake. ”(William Shakespeare)
