“Take advantage of all the opportunities in your life, because when they pass by, they take a long time to come back.” (Paulo Coelho)

“Take advantage of all the opportunities in your life, because when they pass by, they take a long time to come back.” (Paulo Coelho) There are things that we dream about. Some come true and others don't. But when we happen to be challenged even better, it gives us another enthusiasm, and a push from someone never hurt anyone, as if to say: "a day is not a day!" or "life is short", or even, "enjoy it!" The full phrase, as used by Horace, is as follows: “Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero” … (“Enjoy today and trust as little as possible in tomorrow” The idea transmitted to us throughout our lives is that life is a succession of inhibitions, made up of suffering and resignation, and that we need to take advantage of the few opportunities for distraction, pleasure and joy that come to us. But as the people say in their advice, the most informed will be: -Wow! Don't save for tomorrow what you can do today. Life is two days - yesterday and today - and tomorrow is just a promise. As the Dalai Lama wrote: “There are only two days in the year when nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and especially live.” In these times, perhaps as in other times, we are told that we are not living, that we cannot call our mere existence life, perhaps that is why it appears every moment, in our mind and as in the past, or perhaps even today, the “living” a little bit”, breaking down the incitement, it even gives the impression that we only deserve to live well for a little bit of nothing, so as not to get ideas, so as not to get used to trying hard. In fact, it must be said almost constantly whenever someone hesitates to take a bite of “the cake of the good life.” The modern version adds “because you deserve it”, but the underlying idea is always the same: “you’re tired of working, it’s time to take a minute to relax.” As Martin Luther King Jr said: “If you can't fly, then run; if you can't run, then walk; if you can't walk, then crawl; But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”
