“We are the architects of our own destiny.” (Frank Miller)

“We are the architects of our own destiny.” (Frank Miller) Someone said that “destiny is not a matter of luck, but a matter of choice; it is not something that we wait for, but that we look for”, perhaps that is why all of us, at times, like to tell “stories”, but the most difficult thing is to get others to listen and believe in the “stories”! There is always a small or big problem, which seems to be in an “illusionist demagoguery” in which they try to divert our gaze from what they actually are, to what they seem to be. And so the boundary between what is a story, news or information disappears – as a friend of mine says “the door to manipulation has opened wide”. Jean Paul Sartre said, “A man is always a storyteller. He sees everything that happens to him through them. And, he tries to live his life, like he's telling a story.” We have to have the perception that in today's times, the "manipulation of many things that surround us" and that prevents us from seeing reality with complete clarity, that inhibits our clairvoyance and makes it impossible for us to understand each other. , leading to the reasoning being reduced to a multitude of prejudices, we become collaborationists and, in some cases, agents of this manipulation. Perhaps Benjamin Israel was right in his statement that: “We make our paths and call it destiny.” Perhaps for all this, loneliness is an experience that can be described by what you see and can even be deceiving. After all, what does loneliness mean? You can be alone, whether reading or walking, but not feeling lonely. Or you can be with someone else, whether walking down a crowded street or in a room with other people, but feeling that loneliness – there's a big difference between being alone and feeling lonely! “Happiness is not a destination, it is a journey. Happiness is not tomorrow, it's now. Happiness is not an addiction, it is a decision. Happiness is what we are, not what we have.” (Osho)
