Hurry up to live well and think that each day is, in itself, a life”. (Seneca) We all like to tell stories, because we all have a story to tell, but the hardest part is having people who listen to them. In reality, yesterday we were, today we are and tomorrow we will be the characters of a finite history. As Joel Dicker wrote in his book “The Enigma of Room 622”: “Life is a novel whose ending we already know: in the last chapter, the hero dies. The most important thing, therefore, is not how our story ends, but how we fill the pages until then. Because life, like a novel, should be an adventure. And adventures are the vacation of life.” If in fact everything happens at the right time, having the perception that it will not always happen the way we want, maybe that's why it's very important to ensure that we have free time to enjoy some good days without realizing that time passes, as Albert said Einstein: “Time is an illusion. The only reason time exists is so that everything doesn't happen all at once.” Sometimes we complain about difficult experiences that "haunt" us throughout our lives. Life gives us the lessons we need, not necessarily the ones we want, to promote the development of our consciousness. This is not fatalism. As much as the experiences are painful, they are a path to our maturity. And everything passes. This is the safest way forward. As Friedrich Nietzsche said: “This is a dream, I know, but I want to keep dreaming.” Or to paraphrase Paulo Coelho: “The world is in the hands of those who have the courage to dream and take the risk of living their dreams.”
