“We all have the right to be mistaken in our opinions. But no one has the right to be mistaken in the facts.” (Bernard Baruch)

“We all have the right to be mistaken in our opinions. But no one has the right to be mistaken in the facts.” (Bernard Baruch) “People are starting to realize that there are a lot of arguments for taxing wealth. And conservative governments are beginning to realize that if they don't make sensible reforms, a government more to the left will do more radical things” (Arun Advani, professor at the University of Warwick and researcher at the London School of Economics.) Here we have Rui Rio who promises everything, forgetting that he is heir to a time when his partners at the time only took measures to impoverish the country. In these times when in developed countries the way to apply taxes on wealth and companies is being studied, namely in the United Kingdom they will increase the IRC on the largest companies in the country to 25% in 2022 and in the USA, Biden and Yellen also promised to increase taxes on companies, putting them at the pre-Trump level, Rio's proposals for our country is that of “reducing taxes on companies”, keeping taxes on people…..forgetting that the most It's people and not companies that matter. It makes no sense for capital gains to be taxed lower than labor income. They are richer and still have lower rates. As Adam Smith wrote, "The wealth of a nation is measured by the wealth of its people, not by the wealth of its princes." In these times of enormous uncertainty, there will also be great opportunities, and let no one think that it is enough to “go back to the past”!
