WE ARE ABLE TO DO OUR BEST! “É das coisas, que os sonhos são feitos.” It is about things, that dreams are made." (William Shakespeare

When we think about the part, we must at the same time think about the whole.” (Carl Von Clausewitz)
When we think about the part, we must at the same time think about the whole.” (Carl Von Clausewitz)
All of us, at certain times in our lives, have certainly asked ourselves: "But why the hell am I thinking about this?" Whether or not it is our will is our self-awareness at work. But, the problem is that most of that time, this "filter" doesn't work and we don't even realize what is happening in our mind, while our body is giving the most varied signs that something "strange" is to pass. As Carl Von Clausewitz said: "The greatest enemy of a good plan is the dream of a perfect plan." But is there “perfection”? Or does what has to be done really has to be done? We all feel that sometimes we spend too much time thinking about what happened and less time thinking about what is happening. That is, we are more “focused” on past events, especially on the less good events that we have had as an experience in our life, which can cause us to miss out on great opportunities that life is giving us at that time. As Vitor Hugo said: “Initiative is doing what is right without having to be told to do it. Since life is already short, but we make it even shorter, wasting time.” As someone said when turning off the light of the world and living in the darkness of a distant planet where nothing new happens, because what happens is what has already happened, and sometimes or almost always we don't remember that anything that we can think or do can change what has already happened, because now, in this moment, life is happening. As Johann Goethe said: “Nothing is worth more than today. We cannot relive yesterday. Tomorrow is still beyond our reach.” If we are not perfect why do we demand to be perfect? Worse, we demand to have perfect and rosy relationships and when they are not, we think and we are in that situation of "wanting everything and having nothing." The sooner we accept that we are imperfect, we make mistakes, we have mistakes, we make mistakes, we do nonsense, we don't know everything, we are not the owner of the truth…the better for us and for others who relate to us. If we feel that we are too perfectionist, let us try to stop being one and start accepting our imperfections. You will see how much easier it is to accept others and improve our relationships. “What the human being most aspires to is to become a human being. The happiest people don't have the best things, they know how to make the best of the opportunities that come their way.” (Clarice Lispector)
