"Homesickness is what makes things stop in time.” (Mário Quintana)

"Homesickness is what makes things stop in time.” (Mário Quintana) We live in times of some nostalgia, and maybe for that reason, sometimes I feel that I miss “my future”, because I don't know, nor do I know if anyone knows, if these pandemic times will “force us to take a step back towards the past "or will it be an opportunity for this present" to take that step towards the future "?. In reality, we all have to continue to do our part, while the government does everyone's part. We have to understand that we have to be very cautious, especially since we are a country with very limited resources, knowing that with each passing day confinement makes us poorer. If we want to continue within the plan that safeguards people's health, it is good that everyone does their part. As Mário Quintana said: “Allow yourself to laugh and get to know other hearts. Learn to live, learn to love people with solidarity, learn to do good things, learn to help others, learn to live your own life. ” What we have to be aware of is that this time, with little time, brings about a reality, in which it happens that sometimes it is necessary to stop and look away, in order to be able to see what is close to us, or to put it another way as one said friend of mine, "One day when we lose this reality of ours, we will miss you for sure." Whether or not we understand it, the world revolves around people, their ideas and their interventions, and in any circumstance of life, people needed other people, because no one is born alone, and the human being lives for live in society, because it is there that you grow, learn and develop, whether as a child or as an adult …… .. “Among our greatest pleasures in this world are pleasant thoughts, and the great art of life consists in having them in the greatest possible number. ”(Michel de Montaigne, French writer) In this time without time, popular wisdom says that there is nothing good or bad except these two things: wisdom that is good and ignorance that is evil, and that is why there is nothing like a little bit of madness. to agitate the doldrums, and sometimes we feel that we are “somewhat numb” without knowing how to have an answer to such a situation. And, perhaps in those moments, José Saramago's words have meaning: “What gives the encounter the true meaning is the search, and it is necessary to walk a lot to reach what is close. I feel that what happens to me must have a meaning, some sense, I feel that I should not stop halfway through without finding out what it is about.
