There are a lot of people out there who have not yet understood that the skill is a trained practice that is only possible to influence given situations with the help of intelligence, otherwise it goes around and becomes even irritating. Crises have a lot of imagination and create surprising opportunities, forcing us all to search deep inside “our soul”, and it poses unthinkable paradoxes, which is why crises sometimes come in handy. The phrase of scientist Carl Sagan expresses, today, everything that should lead to serious reflection: “We have built a society based on science and technology, in which nobody understands anything about science and technology. And that explosive mix of ignorance and power, sooner or later, is going to blow us in the face. ”

In these times that, as I usually say they are not ours, I believe that in general, we all have the notion that we are going through a huge social and economic crisis of gigantic proportions, in times of risk and uncertainty, where no one knows what awaits us in this and in the years to come, and we will not be immune to the upheavals that we are experiencing at all levels. The reality is that we don't even know what to ask, how do we know the answer? It may be appropriate to recall the unforgettable reflection of former US President Barack Obama etched on the walls of the Museum of African American Culture in Washington. “Change will not come if we wait for someone else or another time. We are the ones we have been waiting for. We are the change we seek ”,

Perhaps for this reason it would be much more useful for people to use their cognitive abilities more and better, associated with discernment, added to patience and common sense, it would be possible to avoid intolerance, and in this field stands out the care that we must always take in not taking decisions only based on our desires, and without observing what common sense says. Sometimes we really want something, and we are blinded to the price we will have to pay. At other times, we should first build the basis on rationality and then take the leap of emotional desire. As René Descartes said: "Common sense is the best distributed thing in the world: we all think we have it in such a way that even the most difficult to be content with other things do not usually want more common sense than the one they have."
